The Black Princesses finished their campaign in the 2025 WAFU B U20 Girls' Cup with a defeat to Nigeria on Tuesday, November 11.
Coach Charles Sampson's side suffered a 3-0 defeat to the Falconets in their final game of the competition in Benin.
Ghana came into the fixture on the back of a 2-0 win over Benin in the early hours of Monday in their third game of the competition.
The gaffer made three changes to the starting lineup with Theresa Darko, Mary Amponsah and Fatima Fuseini all coming into the starting lineup.
Nigeria scored twice in the opening 40 minutes to take the advantage heading into the break.
The Black Princesses came to scoring before the Nigerians but Mary Amponsah's effort from close range and Linda Owusu Ansah's strikes were unable to beat the Nigerian goalkeeper.
After the break, Sarah Nyarko also came close to scoring for Ghana, but her effort went just inches away from the post.
Nigeria grabbed a third in the closing stages of the game to put the game to bed and ensure a double win over Ghana, having also beaten them in their first encounter in the competition.
The Black Princesses' involvement in the competition saw them win two games, both against Benin, while losing their two games against Nigeria.
