Ghana’s Defence Minister, Dr Edward Omane Boamah, has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring sustainable peace and security across the country.
In a Facebook post on Monday, 17th February, he assured Ghanaians that the government remains dedicated to safeguarding national stability.
Dr Boamah emphasised that this commitment would be executed with patriotism, impartiality, and a human-centred approach.
“We remain committed to ensuring sustainable peace and security in Ghana. In doing so, we shall be patriotic, non-partisan, unbias and human-centred,” he stated.
The Defence Minister further stressed the value of human life, noting that any loss of life is a great loss to both the government and the nation as a whole.
He concluded by urging all Ghanaians to contribute to maintaining peace and security. “Let’s work together to ensure peace and security as we reset Ghana for a prosperous future,” he stated.
