The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Bosiako, popularly known as ‘Chairman Wontumi,’ has disclosed that the party has over one million strategies to secure victory in the December elections.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony of the NPP’s running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, Chairman Wontumi expressed his confidence in the party’s ability to win the December polls and break the ‘8’.
Chairman Wontumi emphasized that the party has "one million ways" to emerge victorious and is prepared to employ every possible means to win the upcoming elections.
The outspoken politician stated that the NPP has completed its internal elections and is now wholly focused on securing a win in the 2024 elections.
Reflecting on the 2008 elections, Chairman Wontumi asserted that the NDC would not be able to prevent the NPP from achieving victory this time.
He emphasised the party's readiness and determination to overcome any obstacles posed by their political opponents.
At the unveiling ceremony, Chairman Wontumi highlighted the importance of unity and coordination within the party.
He mentioned that the selection of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh as the running mate has further solidified the party's strength and resolve to win.
Furthermore, Chairman Wontumi praised Dr. Prempeh's credentials and his appeal to the grassroots, which he believes will significantly contribute to the NPP's success in the elections.
He thus urged all party members and supporters to rally behind their candidates and work tirelessly towards a resounding victory.
"We know how to win the elections. NPP, we have finished from polling stations. We have finished MPs, the president and now the running mate, we have finished every internal election in the NPP. Now what is left is winning the 2024 elections.
“They can’t stop us. 2008 they delayed us. 2024 elections, NDC you cannot stop us, we are winning. It is possible. Tell the NDC that we have one million ways to win the 2024 elections and we are ready," he stated.
