Twenty people died in an accident on the Tsibu and Peki-Adzokoe road in the Volta Region.
The accident occurred when a KIA Grandbird collided with a Toyota Hiace on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.
The Toyota Hiace and a bus with registration number AS 9801-17 were en route from Accra to Chinderi in the Krachi Nchumuru district in the Oti Region.

The deceased included ten females, six males, and four children, including a 7-month-old baby.
Twenty-seven others sustained various degrees of injuries.
