Midfielder Abu Francis has been handed a late call-up to the Black Stars for the doubleheader against Sudan in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Coach Otto Addo was forced to adjust his 25-man squad following injuries to some players ahead of the fixtures.
According to JoySports sources, Francis, who received his fourth national team invitation, is expected to join the squad for Tuesday's training session, replacing Thomas Partey who is doubtful due to injury.
Francis has made 10 appearances this season in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League for Cercle Brugge but is yet to feature for Ghana in a competitive match.
Meanwhile, 11 players were available for the Black Stars’ first training session on Monday, October 7, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Ghana face Sudan on October 10, with the second leg scheduled five days later.
