He confirmed his appointment on Kumasi-based radio station Oyerepa FM.
"It's true that I have been named the Executive Chairman of King Faisal FC."
"I'll be running the day to day activities of the club whiles Alhaji Grunsah remains the President of the club," he added.
Amoako concluded by reiterating his appreciation. He said "I'm grateful for the appointment and will strive to do my best for the club."
King Faisal were rooted at the bottom of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League table after failing to win a game in 14 matches.
The cancellation of the football season presented the Inshallah boys an opportunity to start afresh next season and turn around their fortunes.
