Oluboi Commodore, the General Manager of GPL side Great Olympics, has stated that referees have shown favour to the Phobians this campaign.
Samuel Boadu's men are currently on top of the league standings with 49 points, two points ahead of arch rivals Asante Kotoko.
Despite the impressive form of the Phobians, Commodore thinks that referees have lent a hand and added that his team will easily beat them in their upcoming battle during the weekend.
“If not for dubious officiating they wouldn’t be where they are now. Even if Hearts come to do the selection for Olympics we will still beat them”, he told Happy FM.
“We don’t need any warmup to face Hearts of Oak. Hearts is a normal team. We only need fair officiating to play them. We will finish them in the first half. Olympics also wants to win the league so we expecting to beat Hearts of Oak and win the other remaining matches”.
Olympics beat Hearts 2-0 in their previous encounter thanks to goals from Gladson Awako and Maxwell Quaye. The Oly Dade boys are third, five points behind their city rivals.
