Some 66 market queens in Kumasi say they are prepared to foot the nomination fees if Trades Minister, Alan Kyeremanten declares interest to contest the flagbearer position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
They are prevailing on him to commit to lead the party to victory to improve trade and a lot of market women in the Ashanti region and beyond.
The market queens addressed the press after a pro-NPP women's group, "Queens", donated trips of chippings and bags of cement to improve conditions at the racecourse market in Kumasi.
