Actress Gloria Safo and her family held an event to mark her mother's passing.
The one-week observation was held on Friday in Haatso Accra.
It was a difficult time for the actress as she kept breaking down in tears.
Present at the observations to mourn with the actress were some persons in the entertainment industry.
Kalsum Sinare, Beverly Afaglo, Abena Kyei Boakye, Martha Ankomah, Peter Ritchie and Emelia Brobbey were among some of the people present.
Former Ashanti Regional Minister, Sampson Kwaku Boafo, was also present at the observation.
Emelia Brobbery during the event also performed.
Madam Ophelia Yeboah passed died on February 11, at age 66. Although Gloria broke the news on Instagram, she did not reveal what caused her mother’s death.
“Is this how it feels to lose your mother,” she had written. “Eiiiiiiiiii Awurade Nyame 😫😫😫😫😫. God, I Prayed!!! I begged you to dave my mother!!!. I Prayed I Prayed I Prayed!!!! WHY😭😭😭😭.”
