UK-based Ghanaian Singer, Akua Ohenewaa Asieanem, known in showbiz circles as, Stephanie Benson, has stated that she always opens up because she has nothing to hide from her husband and children.
She told Roselyn Felli on Prime Morning that people think her lifestyle does not conform with Ghanaian values, but she believes the proper way to teach her children is to let them know what they are supposed to know.
To her, she has nothing to hide from her husband and children, the reason she feels free to discuss everything including sexual issues.
“… My husband is very accommodating and my children always talk to me about anything, including sex because I love playing with them. This helps me to tune their mind to the proper sexual practices,” she noted.
She believes all these things help the children to discuss pressing issues affecting them to ensure that nothing is worrying them, both psychologically and physically.
The ‘ONE MORE’ hit maker added that all she wants is to bring happiness to her home, so she always pulls out creative stunts to animate the family. Such creativity includes sometimes walking half-naked in the house and also having explicit conversations with her children.
“I love excitement in my home, so I try to build that lasting relationship with my family. Speaking to the children on sexual reproductive health breaks that barrier of shyness which drives children to their peers,” she added.
