Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, is unhappy about the criticisms he is facing after his mother was ejected from her home.
According to him, it is deliberate to choose not to rent a new place or buy a new house for his mother.
In a live feed on Facebook, he hinted that the relationship between him and his mum is not that friendly although they have had some good times.
His comments come after his mother, Elsie Evelyn Amevega, confirmed to Adom FM’s Entertainment Team that she has been evicted from the house the dancehall musician rented for her years ago.
According to her, all efforts to reach her son have proven futile after she was served notice to pack her belongings and leave the house.
She explained that it was Shatta Wale’s former lover, Michy, who took her to the house, adding that, she hasn’t seen her son in about five years now.
She said she went to Shatta Wale’s house at East Legon but the security personnel denied her access.
In the second month of 2022, she was finally evicted from the house without hearing a word from Shatta Wale, she told Adom FM’s Mike 2.
But touching on the subject, Shatta Wale stated that people have jumped to conclusion without looking at the issue from his perspective.
According to him, if he is rich enough to give out money and gifts to people, he can get his mother a new home if he chooses to.
But, no one has asked why he has held back and whether or not the whole development could be his mother’s fault.
He added that it would do the general public some good to stay out of their issue stating that he would not hesitate to deal with people who do not heed this warning.
