The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has today, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, opened nominations for Constituency Executives elections.
The party will thus from April 28 to May 2, 2022, elect new officers.
NPP had initially set April 24, to April 28, 2022, to hold the said polls, but due to the series of conflicts that characterised the Polling Station elections, the National Executives had to reschedule.
The General Secretary of the party, John Boadu made this known at a press conference today, Tuesday, April 19.
Mr. Boadu disclosed that nomination forms will be sold at all party offices across the country.
It would be recalled that some level disturbances rocked some electoral areas as the governing NPP began to reorganise processes ahead of the 2024 general elections.
During preparations to hold the Polling Station Executives elections, some party members accused their executives of hoarding the forms.
In February, for instance, NPP supporters at Kwadaso in the Ashanti Region-locked up the constituency chairman.
