The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Ogum Narteh, has resigned from his role, according to multiple reports.
Ogum Narteh is said to have taken the decision to resign during a meeting between the technical team and the club's management on Wednesday, July 20.
The former WAFA trainer was appointed prior to the start of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League and led the club to their first league title since the 2013/14 season.
The gaffer amassed 67 points from 34 games as the Porcupine Warriors beat Medeama to the league title.
The club is set to participate in the CAF Champions League next season.
Ogum guided Kotoko to beat Aduana FC at Dormaa for the first time and also ensured their first victory in Sogakope over WAFA.
Joy Sports understands talks are still ongoing between the management and the coach to review his decision.
However, there has not any official communication from the club.
