Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side, Tamale City, with immediate effect, have dismissed Emmanuel Kotei for misconduct following the club’s match day two loss to Legon Cities in the Ghanaian top flight.
In a statement addressed to the player and signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Mohammed Iddi, the player is reported to have been exhibiting insubordination and gross indiscipline.

"It is a well-known fact that you served the club with all your heart in the previous years and we sincerely appreciate that, but your behavior this time is also clear that you want to break the team. We are therefore sorry to inform you that your services are no more needed the club and you are by this letter dismissed from the club” the statement added.

The player has also been directed to return all belongings of the club in his possession to the equipment officer before his departure.
