Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari and Emmanuel Agyeman Badu were among some former Black Stars players to visit the family house of Christian Atsu on Tuesday, February 21, to commiserate with them.
The players were at the family home of the Ghana international to show support following his passing after being a casualty of the earthquake which happened in Turkey and Syria on February 6.
Atsu was confirmed dead on Saturday, February 18, after being under rubble for 12 days, having been involved in the disaster a day after scoring a winning goal for Hatayspor in the Turkish Super Lig game against Kasimpasa.
His remains touched down in Ghana over the weekend and was received by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration as well as the family.
Abedi Ayew Pele led a delegation that paid a visit to the family house on Monday to pay tribute to the departed star's family while some others including Gyan, Muntari, Badu, Baffour Gyan and Haminu Dramani were also there on Tuesday.
