Ghana Women's Premier League champions Ampem Darkoa Ladies will play in the final of this year's WAFU B Women's Champions League qualifiers following their win over Nam Sally FC on Monday evening.
The Techiman-based side recorded yet another emphatic victory in the semi-final to book a slot in the last two of the competition.
A hat-trick from Tracey Twum and three other goals from Nancy Amoh, Ophelia Amponsah and Mary Amponsah were enough for the Nana Mma as they cruised to a 6-1 victory in Benin City, Nigeria.
Twum got her first two goals of the game in the opening 11 minutes before Mary Amponsah grabbed her eighth goal of the competition in the 18th minute while Ophelia Amponsah got on the scoresheet just before the halftime whistle.
Sam Nelly got a goal back nine minutes after the recess but that was only a consolation as Nancy Amoh scored the fifth before Twum completed her hat-trick in the 69th minute.
Victory over the Benin side means Ampem Darkoa Ladies advance into the final where they will play Nigeria's Delta Queens, who defeated Athletico FC in the other semifinal game.
The final of the tournament is scheduled for Thursday, August 31.
The Ghanaian side will be hoping to grab a slot in the third edition of the CAF Women's Champions League on the second try after losing to Bayelsa Queens in the final of the WAFU B qualifiers last year.
