Hearts of Oak head coach, Martin Koopman, believes there is a deep goal-scoring problem in Ghana football.
The Dutch manager claims the issue is not just limited to the Phobians, but also evident in the Black Stars.
The 67-year-old said this when his team played a second consecutive goalless draw, the latest against Samartex in match week six of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League on Saturday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
"Look, there is a deep problem in Ghana football. The problem is also with the national team. The wingers and the strikers cannot score goals and I keep saying, and it is not only with us but it is happening in the national team and other clubs,” Coach Martin Koopman said.
"We will do everything to win games and they must come and look at how we work with the boys.
"I think I am not the problem and also not the players because they gave everything but we need experience and then goals then we can move from the problem.”
Hearts of Oak have scored one goal in five league games this season. The Phobians have one win, picked two draws and suffered two defeats.
