Bibiani GoldStars head coach Michael Osei has praised the performance of Heart of Lions following the two side's 2-2 draw on Monday.
Lions twice had to come behind to salvage a point against the Miners away from home as their unbeaten start to the Ghana Premier League continued.
Despite their unbeaten run, the newly promoted side is yet to win a game in the top flight but their performance in Bibiani was another good outing since their return to the league.
Having watched his side throw away the lead on two occasions, Osei chose to commend his opponents rather than condemn the performance of his side.
"It was a very difficult game. I will credit our opponent because they were tactically disciplined. It was a game that we wanted to win at all costs; we got the first two goals," Osei said after the game.
"However, defensively and tactically, we couldn’t defend well, and then they were able to equalise. It’s very unfortunate, but we will go back to the drawing board and ensure we improve our performance in subsequent games."
GoldStars currently occupy the eighth position on the league table after six rounds of games, having won two, drawn two and lost two.
