West Ham United boss David Moyes says the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations will be a big blow for his side with Mohammed Kudus and a host of others expected to leave for the tournament.
The Hammers could be without the Ghanaian midfielder as well as Said Benrahma and Nayef Aguerd for the continental tournament next month with Ghana, Algeria and Morocco all booking a place.
The three players have all been good additions to Moyes' team this term with the Ghanaian being involved in seven goals in 17 games.
Moyes says the team will have to manage without the three though it would be disappointing to lose them.
"We’ve got Mo Kudus, and we’ve also got Saïd Benrahma from Algeria and Nayef Aguerd from Morocco," he said.
"The disappointing bit, and the thing we’ll need to manage, is losing those players for a month during the African Cup of Nations. But that’s part of it.
In Premier League action, the Hammers take a trip to North London with Tottenham Hotspur in sight on Thursday night.
