Former Volta Regional Minister, Kofi Dzamesi, says Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is the best person to win more votes for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Volta and Oti regions.
According to Mr Dzamesi, with the Vice President leading the NPP in the elections, the people of the Volta region will be willing to vote more than they did in the 2020 elections.
“Spiritually, Dr. Bawumia has won but we all need to work very hard to make it a reality."
"The NPP's votes in the Volta Region have been increasing and I am very confident that with Dr Bawumia, we will do much better in 2024,” he said.

Mr Dzamesi, who is also the CEO of Bui Power Authority, was addressing party rank and file at Dambai and Sogakope in Oti and Volta regions respectively during the NPP flagbearer's ‘thank you’ tour on Sunday, December 10, 2023.
The CEO explained that although Dr Bawumia's leadership is God-ordained, members of the party must work hard to ensure it manifests.
Dr. Bawumia was accompanied by NPP National Chairman, Steven Ayesu Ntim, former General Secretary Kwabena Adjei Agyapong, and MP for Efiduase in the Ashanti Region, Dr Nana Ayew Afriyie.
