Hearts of Oak coach Abubakar Ouattara was forced to explain the circumstances that led to his team's loss to Legon Cities, in a confrontation with a section of the fans.
Hearts suffered an excruciating 2-0 loss to Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
The Phobians succumbed to two second half goals from Cities' Albert Yeboah.
Saturday's defeat means Hearts have now lost four of their last five league matches.
At full time, a section of the travelling fans stayed behind to express their disappointment with the Ouattara's team.
The Ivorian trainer then made his way to the supporters, ostensibly to listen to their concerns and offer an explanation.
Although the fans were visibly upset, things did not escalate any further as both sides passionately conveyed their thoughts.
In a video that has since gone viral, Ouattara said he had no control of the composition of the current squad since he was not responsible for the recruitment.
While some fans complained about the team's performance, others questioned his selections and singled out Thomas Winimi for his recent mistakes.
In his response, Ouattara asked for patience and support for the team.
"These are the materials I have. I do not have any players anywhere else so I have to work with them. So be patient and hear me out," he said.
"Yesterday at the hotel, we did not have electricity or water," Ouattara said.
