Ghana international Doris Boaduwaa is optimistic about Hasaacas Ladies' chances in next season's CAF Champions League after winning the Malta Guinness Women's Premier League.
The Hasmal Ladies beat Ampem Darkoa Ladies last weekend to win their fifth league title and their first since the 2020/21 campaign.

The victory secured their participation in the WAFU B Champions League qualifiers in Ivory Coast. It also serves as the getaway to the main CAF Women's Club competition later in the year.
Boaduwaa, who played with Hasaacas in the CAF Women's Champions League before leaving for Serbia later, believes the current team can also go all the way to impress if they make a few additions to the squad.
"They have new players in the team and I think there will be a few additions so they can go [to the CAF Women's Champions League] and make Ghana proud," she told Joy Sports.
The Spartak Subotica forward lost the league twice with Hasaacas Ladies before her departure to Europe.
She says she was happy the team reclaimed the title again.
"I feel proud [seeing them win the league] because when I was there, we couldn't make it but now they have done it so I am okay," she added.
Boaduwaa was present at the University of Ghana to support her former club to victory against the Techiman-based side.
