Accra Lions will host Nsoatreman FC at the Legon Sports Stadium on Saturday, September 28, 2024, with hopes of securing their first three points in the ongoing Ghana Premier League (GPL) campaign.
Last season’s title contenders have had a sluggish start to their 2024/25 season, managing only a draw and suffering two consecutive defeats.
Ibrahim Tanko's side is determined to bounce back, as a win would lift them out of the relegation zone.
On the other hand, Nsoatreman FC are looking to regain momentum after their exit from the CAF Confederation Cup.
Having won their opening fixture 2-0 against GPL debutants Young Apostles, Nsoatreman will be eager to grab their second win of the season.
Head-to-head
Accra Lions and Nsoatreman FC have faced off twice in previous GPL seasons, with Lions winning both home encounters since Nsoatreman’s promotion in the 2022/2023 campaign.
Accra Lions continued their dominance in the 2023/2024 season, defeating Nsoatreman 2-0 away and 2-1 at home, further establishing themselves as the superior side in these meetings.
