Nana Boakye Akuamoah Boateng II, the Omanhene of Akomadan, has commended Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer for the 2024 election, as a compassionate and visionary leader.
According to Nana Boateng, Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to public service and his proven track record make him a strong candidate for Ghana’s highest office.
This endorsement was shared by Nana Boateng during a recent community event, where he praised the Vice President’s empathy and dedication to social welfare initiatives.
He noted that Dr. Bawumia’s work has positively impacted many vulnerable communities across the nation.
The Akomadan Omanhene highlighted Dr. Bawumia’s commitment to supporting the underprivileged, specifically mentioning his consistent support for people affected by leprosy and other initiatives aimed at assisting those in need.
Nana Boateng emphasised that such actions reflect a genuine concern for the well-being of all Ghanaians.
Nana Boateng further observed that Dr. Bawumia’s focus on empowering marginalized communities and addressing poverty showcases his vision for a more inclusive Ghana.
The traditional leader remarked that these efforts signal a deep-seated desire to uplift every segment of society, especially the vulnerable.
In addition to Dr. Bawumia’s humanitarian work, Nana Boakye Akuamoah Boateng II lauded his expertise in governance and economic management.
He pointed to Dr. Bawumia’s leadership in promoting financial inclusion, digital transformation, and public sector reforms as evidence of his understanding of Ghana’s complex challenges.
“Personally, what I witnessed about this man brought me to tears the other day. Dr. Bawumia helped a deprived woman in the Upper West Region, stating that he would build a house for her. I was deeply touched by his act of service. Dr. Bawumia, you are a good person and the right leader for this country."
“That’s not all. When he celebrates his birthday, he does so with the elderly and individuals affected by leprosy, sharing a meal with them. He is truly empathetic. Not only that, but he is also intelligent and visionary,” he said.
