Bibiani Gold Stars coach, Frimpong Manso, has voiced his unwavering support for Otto Addo despite Ghana's recent struggles in the AFCON qualifiers.
With the final round of AFCON qualifiers set for this week, Frimpong Manso expressed concerns over Ghana's chances of securing a spot, but urged fans and officials to back Addo as he prepares for the 2025 World Cup qualifiers.
“I know Otto Addo wants to achieve something for the country, but right now, we must focus on supporting him for the World Cup qualifiers because at this point, we cannot qualify for the AFCON.
“I understand that people will complain if we miss out on the Afcon but what we he will need is support to do the right things and bring good players for the world cup qualifiers,” he told Asempa FM.
Ghana's Black Stars have struggled in Group F of the AFCON qualifiers, earning only two points from their first four matches.
The Black Stars are on the verge of missing out on the Africa Cup of Nations for the first time in 20 years, if they fail to win their final two games and Sudan do not drop points in their last two games.
