Samira Bawumia, the wife of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has assured Ghanaians that her husband will not let them down if elected in the upcoming December 7 election.
Speaking at the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) final rally on Thursday, 5th December, she urged the electorate to vote for Dr Bawumia, describing him as the best candidate to continue the party’s development agenda.
Samira Bawumia expressed her confidence in her husband’s leadership, stating that he has proven his commitment to the country through various initiatives and projects.
She urged Ghanaians to consider the progress made under the NPP government, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, education, and social intervention programmes, and vote to ensure these achievements are not reversed.
In her speech, she called on supporters to maintain a positive attitude as they head into election day, stressing the importance of voter turnout and participation.
She also appealed to the electorate to ignore any negative rhetoric and focus on the proven track record of the NPP administration, which she said had worked tirelessly to improve the lives of ordinary Ghanaians.
Samira Bawumia reminded the crowd that the future of the country is at stake and urged them to trust her husband to continue delivering for Ghana. “Dr Bawumia will not let you down,” she said, rallying the crowd to cast their votes and support the NPP in securing another term in office.
“I know him very, very well. I have watched him work hard day and night, seven days a week, from morning till night."
