Dutch international, Jeremie Frimpong, has revealed the Black Stars' performance at the 2010 World Cup made him fall in love with Ghana.
The Black Stars, under the guidance of Milovan Rajevac, reached the last eight of the global showpiece, becoming the second African side to mark that feat at the time.
According to Jeremie, who is of Ghanaian descent, the spirited performances of the senior national team at the Mundial were convincing enough to make him a fan.
"I watched the 2010 World Cup and fell in love with Ghana because the players gave their all and reached the quarterfinals," the Bayer Leverkusen defender told 3Sports.
The right-back has been in Ghana on holiday from the Bundesliga break.
