The 2025 edition of the Luv FM Health and Fitness Walk exceeded expectations as participants showed up in their numbers for the exercise.
Individuals, schools, groups, and staff of some corporate institutions were thrilled to join in the walk.
The health walk started with an aerobic session at the Kumasi City Mall, where the nine-kilometer walk took off.

Participants walked through Nhyieso and Adum then descended to Asafo through Amakom, the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and back to the Mall, where the event concluded with more aerobics.
“Keeping fit is one of our live saving rules. And the walk has been very helpful. I see everyone engaging and some fat is being burned. Aside the exercise we meet other friends and form alliances,” a participant said.
Another also said, “It’s my first time attending Luv Gm health walk. We are privileged to have called us to join.”

This year’s edition saw some Fire Service Officers, Prison Officers and other security professionals happily involved.
Mr James Mwinyelle, Deputy Director of Prisons and Officer in charge of Kumasi Central Prisons was excited to join.
“The health walk has been very good. I’m very happy to be part of the walk. And I commend management and staff of Multimedia for organizing this and for inviting us,” he said.

The Regional Training Officer of Ghana National Fire Service, Solomon Kofi Abaidoo encouraged more people to join in the next edition of the walk.
“We are from Christmas season so we have to walk and burn the fat. The walk has been helpful and next year I’m expecting everyone to join us whenever this health walk happens again,” he said.
Sponsors of the Fitness Walk treated participants to meals and other giveaway packages after the aerobics and walk.
Luv Fm's Erastus Asare Donkor said he is impressed with the turnout.

"At Multimedia, we are conscious of our health so we want to encourage healthy living. That’s why we organize this every year. The feedback is the excitement on the faces of people. The turnout has been fantastic this year and we’ll encourage more people to join,” he said.
The event was sponsored by Astolinks International, Faith Homeopathic Clinic, Premuim Foods, H & H Company Limited and Promisador Ghana Limited.
