Spain’s Miguel Jiménez has won the 2025 edition of the prestigious 49th Hassan II Golf Trophy at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, Morocco.
Jiménez, who was tied at 7-under-par with Steven Alker ahead of the final round, delivered a stellar performance, playing the final nine holes at 3-under-par, highlighted by an eagle on the par-4 17th hole.
This victory is his 14th win on the PGA TOUR Champions.
Finishing the tournament at 11-under, Jiménez set a new tournament record for PGA TOUR Champions at the Hassan II Trophy and ultimately oust last year's champion Ricardo Gonzalez who is down the leaderboard at +1.
Meanwhile, Ernie Els secured a top-three finish at -7, while fellow South African Retief Goosen ended further down the leaderboard at +11.
Morocco has cemented its place as the leading golf destination in Africa and one of the most highly-rated countries globally for providing golfers with a platform to showcase their talent.
