Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has entreated leadership of the National House of Chiefs to work in unity towards uplifting the image of the chieftaincy institution.
According to the overlord of the Asante Kingdom, a united front is relevant towards ensuring success among leaders.
During a visit of the Vice President of the National House of Chief, Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor II to the Manhyia Palace, the Asantehene extolled the qualities of the Buipewura in excelling in his new role.

"I know that with you, the National House of Chiefs will be a stronger institution. I expect you to work with the President towards ensuring a better National House of Chiefs", he said.
The Asantehene added, "I believe that he will execute his mandate to perfection. He has supported all the Yagbonwura occupants to succeed."
Otumfuo Osei Tutu further reiterated his support to ensure the success of the Vice President of the National House of Chiefs.

"This is your house and I am committed to ensuring your success as the Vice President of the House. I will pray for you," he said.
Buipewura was accompanied by sub-chiefs of his chiefdom.

Other Islamic clerics who joined the overlord of Buipe to the Manhyia Palace, prayed for long life and success for the Asantehene.
According to Buipewura Abdulai Jinapor, the Asantehene played an important role in his election as Vice President of the House, hence the need to show appreciation.
"I am grateful for your support and blessings. You were important in my election as President of the National House of Chiefs, that is why I am here today.
"Some time ago, I almost lost my chieftaincy. I came to Asantehene and he helped me, he continues to do a lot for me," said Buipewura Abdulai.
