President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Dr. Patrice Motsepe, has arrived in Accra for an Executive Committee meeting on the back of the ongoing CAF African Schools Football Championship (ASFC).Â
Motsepe touched down in Ghana in the early hours of Saturday, April 26, and was welcomed by Ghana Football Association President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku and Vice President Mark Addo.
Dr. Motsepe is expected to hold a press conference at the Kempinski hotel on Saturday at 13:30 local GMT.
There will also be a meeting with the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, at the Jubilee House in Accra. He will hold a meeting with CAF's Vice-Presidents, and later in the day, there will be an Executive Committee meeting.
Dr. Motsepe will also attend a mixed zone session with participants from the Young Reporters Workshop, which was part of the programme lineup on the sidelines of the CAF African Schools Football Championship 2025.
He will wrap up his activities at the University of Ghana Stadium, where he will be in attendance for the finals of the championship. He will attend the closing ceremony and watch the girls' final between Ghana and Uganda, as well as the boys' final between defending champions Tanzania and Senegal.
