President John Dramani Mahama arrived in Libreville, Gabon, on Friday evening ahead of the inauguration and swearing-in ceremony of President-elect General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema.
The ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 3, and marks a significant moment in Gabon’s political transition.

President Mahama’s presence underscores Ghana’s commitment to regional cooperation and diplomatic engagement across Africa.
General Oligui Nguema, who emerged as President-elect following recent political developments in Gabon, is expected to be officially sworn in at a high-level event that will draw dignitaries and heads of state from across the continent.
