A 16-year-old motor repairer is battling for his life after being involved in a tricycle accident at Potsin Junction in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.
According to eyewitnesses, the teenager was recklessly displaying with the tricycle, popularly known as aboboyaa, when he lost control and it overturned.
He was first rushed to the Potsin Polyclinic but later transferred to the Trauma and Specialist Hospital in Winneba due to the severity of his injuries.
An eyewitness, Ebo Anderson, told Adom News that the victim is well known in the community for his careless riding of motorbikes after work.
“He took the tricycle to drive around, but because of his reckless riding, it overturned, leading to severe injuries,” Mr Anderson recounted.
Doctors at Winneba confirmed that the teenager suffered multiple fractures in his right leg, with both bones badly damaged.
