Second-half substitute, Clinton Kumi struck twice in the final three minutes to seal a 2-0 win for Samartex over newboys Hohoe United, in matchday 7 action.
Kumi was introduced after 70 minutes, replacing Christian Agyenim Boateng, with Samartex looking to inject some attacking verve in what had been a drab game up until that point.
With the game heading towards a goalless draw, Kumi struck brilliantly from close range on the 87th minute mark, before doubling his and Samartex's tally three minutes later with another well times finish.
The win lifts Samartex into 4th spot on the table, with Hohoe United down in 10th place.
