Chief Executive of MobileMoney Limited (MML), Shaibu Haruna, has led a delegation of senior executives to pay a courtesy call on the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr Christian Yohuno, at the Ghana Police Headquarters.

The meeting signals a stepped-up effort to confront growing security threats within the digital financial space.
The high-level engagement centred on strengthening collaboration between MML and the Ghana Police Service, with a particular focus on improving safety for Mobile Money agents across the country.

Discussions also explored new avenues for capacity-building support, as MML expressed readiness to assist the Police Service with initiatives that will bolster security operations tied to the digital financial ecosystem.

The visit, according to MML, reaffirms its commitment to protecting the interests of customers, agents and business partners, while deepening institutional cooperation aimed at building a safer, more resilient fintech landscape.
