Berekum Chelsea and FC Samartex played out a goalless draw on Matchday 12 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday in Berekum.
Chelsea began the game with purpose as they pushed forward and made their intentions clear early in the game. However, poor finishing and strong defensive work from Samartex kept the score at 0–0.
Samartex grew into the game as it progressed but continued to struggle in the final third.
The second half continued in the same fashion, full of intensity, physical duels, and half-chances, but no team managed a breakthrough. Chelsea mounted late pressure, yet Samartex’s disciplined defending held firm.
In the end, both sides settled for a point. The result takes FC Samartex to 7th place with 18 points, while Berekum Chelsea stay 14th on 12 points.
