Monday presents Otto Addo and his Black Stars side with an opportunity to win back the trust of Ghanaians following their heavy loss to Austria.
Ghana suffered a 5-1 defeat to Austria last Friday in their first friendly of the March international break in Vienna raising loads of questions about the team's preparedness for the 2026 World Cup.
While the scoreline was damning, it was the performance on the day that was even worse as Ghanaians slammed the attitude of the players in the loss.
The 5-1 defeat was also Ghana's heaviest loss since 2007.
But the game against Germany gives the players and the technical team a new chance to correct their shortcomings in Vienna.
This will be the first meeting between Ghana and Germany since the group stage clash at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
In all, there have been three games between the Black Stars and Germany, with the latter claiming two wins while one had ended in a draw.
What has been said
A lot has been said going into Monday's fixture from the point of the two coaches.
For Otto Addo, whose pressure continues to grow, he looks forward to his side improving from their last outing.
"We have had a lot to analyse since Friday's defeat, which was a big, big blow for us in our preparation. We were actually optimistic to at least have a good game. But after the first half, and let’s say two unnecessary goals, we fell apart," he said.
"So we had a lot of things to talk through and analyse through, surely even though we will have very strong opponents, we are very, very optimistic that we can handle the situation."

For Julian Nagelsmann and his side, who came from a goal down to beat Switzerland last week, this will be an opportunity to give minutes to some returning players.
"Tomorrow's [Today] game is a bit different because we have to rotate a bit more in order to play some players who may have come from injury," he said at his press conference ahead of the encounter.
