Acting General Secretary of the GFA Emmanuel Gyimah is likely to be confirmed.
Mr Gyimah who was deputy Gen Secretary has been acting since 2011 shortly after the resignation of Kofi Nsiah about a year ago
The Ghana Football Association is yet to name a substantive General Secretary.
JOY Sports investigations reveal Emmanuel Gyimah is the only favourite being considered by the Football Association.
The FA is so far impressed with his efficiency and delivery.
Ibrahim Sani Daara who speaks on behalf of the Ghana Football Association admits “the FA has no cause to worry about Mr. Gyimah’s competence and he has excellently led the place since Kofi Nsiah left. His competence may be the reason why the FA is reluctant to go through the modalities needed to appoint a substantive General Secretary.”
Mr. Kofi Nsiah resigned from the Ghana Football Association in 2011 following the expiration of his contract with the football governing body.
