Ghana League Clubs Association President, John Ansah, has confirmed the Accra Sports Stadium as the venue for the Top Four tournament.
The games, which kick off on August 20, were initially scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium.
However, the National Sports Authority boss, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah - after touring the facility - described it as unfit to host even "colts football."
The Accra Sports Stadium, which is currently a ground for international assignments and set to host the Ghana's World Cup qualifiers match against Mali on September 8, will be made available for the Top Four competition.
"We are playing in Accra and the date stands the same," Ansah said in an interview with GHONE TV.
"We will be doing the needful where we have to launch the program, but as it stands, Accra Sports Stadium is where we are playing."
The competition involves last season's GPL top finishers - Bibiani GoldStars, Heart of Lions, Asante Kotoko, and Hearts of Oak - as preparation ahead of the league resumption.
The Ghana Premier League is set to begin on the weekend of September 12.
