Accra will join over 120 cities worldwide as it hosts its maiden edition of the globally acclaimed Dîner en Blanc on Saturday, 27th December 2025.
The exclusive event, celebrated for its elegance, mystery, and communal charm, will take place at a secret venue to be revealed only at the last minute.
The announcement, made on 7th November 2025, marks Ghana’s entry into the international Dîner en Blanc network. Guests at this stylish all-white picnic will enjoy a night of sophistication, friendship, and music under the stars in one of Accra’s most scenic locations.
To participate, interested guests can register through the Fan List (Phase 3) at accra.dinerenblanc.com. By creating an account, participants will receive an exclusive invitation when registration opens.
This year’s global theme, Blooming Elegance, celebrates floral beauty and joie de vivre, inviting guests to embrace grace and charm through refined fashion, creative table décor, and an atmosphere of poetic sophistication.
“Accra is the perfect place for such a dazzling event, especially as the demand for refined experiences continues to grow here,” said Georgette Amoako, co-host of Dîner en Blanc Accra. With over 20 years of experience in event management, she hopes the inaugural edition will set the stage for an annual tradition.
Guests must follow the traditional Dîner en Blanc guidelines to maintain the event’s signature style and sustainability ethos:
- Dress code: All-white attire is mandatory, with elegance and creativity encouraged.
- Table setting: Everything must be white to preserve the event’s signature aesthetic.
- Secrecy: Guests will gather at a designated meeting point and be escorted by volunteers to the undisclosed venue.
- Clean-up: Guests are required to leave the venue spotless, taking all belongings and litter with them.
In a special arrangement for Accra, tables, white chairs, and tablecloths will be provided. Guests are required to bring two white linen serviettes for the traditional napkin wave, a highlight of every Dîner en Blanc. Attendees may bring gourmet picnic baskets or pre-order catered baskets and wine or Champagne through the event’s e-store.
Dîner en Blanc – Accra is hosted by Georgette Amoako, Gifty Nyarko, and Dorcas Abbeyquaye, with Silicon House Productions as the official local partner for the 2025 edition.
Originating in Paris, Dîner en Blanc has become a worldwide cultural movement celebrating friendship, fine dining, and style. It has now spread to more than 120 cities across 40 countries, uniting bon vivants for an unforgettable night of elegance and connection.
