Elfsborg midfielder Michael Baidoo has received a late call-up to the Black Stars for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games.
The midfielder has been called up into the team for the two games against Sudan which is scheduled for this month.
Baidoo's call-up comes following injuries to some of the players named in Otto Addo's initial 25-man squad for the doubleheader.
The 25-year-old was the subject of attention in the Black Stars coach's press conference to announce his squad for the two games following the omission of the Elfsborg man.
After 10 goals and 4 assists this season for Elfsborg, Michael Baidoo gets a first Black Stars call-up.

Baidoo has been in a rich vein of form this season for the Swedish outfit as he has been directly involved in 14 games. He has scored 10 goals while providing four assists as well across all competitions.
His impressive form saw him power Elfsborg to reach the group stages of the UEFA Europa League where he was involved in six goals.
An invitation to the Black Stars is the latest development for the player who had previously played for the Black Starlets and the Black Satellites.
He made one appearance for the U-17 team while playing for Vision FC while he also racked up three appearances for the U-20 side.
Ghana face Sudan in the first meeting on Thursday, October 10 before travelling to Libya for the second encounter on October 15.
