Asante Kotoko SC will begin their CAF Confederation Cup campaign against Nigeria’s Kwara United in the first preliminary round.
The draw, held on Saturday in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, pits the Porcupines against Kwara United in Kumasi between September 19 and 21, 2025.
The return leg is scheduled for September 26 to 28 in Nigeria.

If Kotoko advance, they will face Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca in the second preliminary round.
The first leg of that tie is set for October 17 to 19, with the decisive return fixture to be played between October 24 and 26, 2025.
Head coach Karim Zito currently has 26 players in Cape Coast for preseason preparations ahead of the new campaign.
The Porcupines are also set to feature in the GHALCA Top Four competition, scheduled for August 20 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
