Former Black Stars player, Augustine Ahinful has lauded the remarkable ascent of Mohammed Kudus since his move to West Ham United from Ajax.
The midfielder has been on a good ride in recent times after struggling in his first few weeks at the club following his arrival.
Kudus has been directly involved in seven goals in 18 appearances for the Hammers, scoring six and assisting one across all competitions.
"Kudus playing well will also affect our national team positively"

Ahinful in an interview with Joy Sports, praised the youngster for finding his feet at the club while praising manager David Moyes for integrating him slowly into the team.
"I'm not surprised at all [at his recent performances] because when he first went to West Ham, we kept complaining about why the coach was not using him. The coach, who works with the team day in and day out, knew what he was doing," Arhinful explained.
The former Borussia Dortmund forward also believes the 23-year-old maintaining his current form will be a positive for the Black Stars at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.

"I think since the time he was integrated into the team, we have seen his performance keeps going up. We should just hope that he doesn't get himself injured," he added.
"He playing well will also affect our national team positively, so we should continue to guide him, advise him, and hope for the best for him."
Kudus will be hoping to sparkle when he plays at his first AFCON tournament in January next year with Ghana facing Egypt, Cape Verde and Mozambique in Ivory Coast.
