Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has expressed gratitude to the Christian Council of Ghana for their support following his election as the New Patriotic Party’s flagbearer for the 2028 general elections.
In a post on Tuesday, Dr Bawumia said he had the privilege of welcoming a delegation from the Council, led by Rev. Enoch Nii Narh Thompson, who visited to convey goodwill and prayers.

He thanked the delegation for their “prayers and kind words” and noted that he looks forward to continued collaboration with faith-based institutions in service to Ghana.
