A major fire outbreak has occurred at the Kasoa New Market, prompting an emergency response from the Kasoa Fire Station and the Weija Fire Station.
According to the Ghana National Fire Service, firefighters from both stations are currently at the scene battling the blaze in an effort to prevent it from spreading to nearby structures and shops.
Meanwhile, all available fire pumps from Accra have been dispatched to support the ongoing firefighting operations due to the intensity of the fire.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined, and the extent of damage to property remains unclear as efforts to bring the situation under control continue.
