Asante Kotoko brought an end to their losing streak in the Ghana Premier League following their draw against Bechem United.
The Porcupine Warriors faced the Hunters at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park on Saturday, April 6, with the game ending in a 0-0 stalemate.
Kotoko were saved on numerous occasions by goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad who was making a return to the lineup following the unavailability of Frederick Asare.
Bechem United saw the referee rescind his decision to award a penalty having earlier given the infringement in the 30th minute of the game.
Kotoko were under pressure for the majority part of the game but were fortunate to walk away with a win from Bechem.
Prosper Narteh Ogum's men had lost their previous four games in the league until the tie against Bechem. Kotoko haven't won any of their last six visits to Bechem after the latest stalemate.
The draw leaves the Porcupine Warriors in 7th position with 33 points from 24 games while Bechem sit fifth on the log.
