Aduana FC and Medeama SC played out an entertaining goalless draw at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa on Saturday.
The highly anticipated top-of-the-table clash was full of intensity and determination, but neither side could find the breakthrough goal.
Aduana started the game brightly and created the better chances in the first half.
Midfielder Siedu Saana came close to scoring with a powerful long-range strike, but Medeama goalkeeper Felix Kyei produced a fine save to keep his side in the game.
The hosts continued to push forward, but Medeama’s defence stood firm.
The visitors improved after the break, showing more confidence and control in midfield. They nearly snatched a late winner when a curling free kick struck the crossbar, leaving Aduana fans relieved.
With the draw, Aduana FC stay top of the Premier League table with 19 points, while Medeama SC remain second, pending other results from Matchweek 9.
Aduana’s next game is against Asante Kotoko, while Medeama will face Eleven Wonders away from home
