Haruna Iddrisu
Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu is demanding urgent action to address the acute water shortages in the Tamale Metropolis.
In a brief statement on the floor of the House on Wednesday, the former Minority Leader explained that the challenge has put hospitals and schools, especially in Tamale, under significant stress.
He called for a resolution to bring some relief to the members of the community.
He was not the only one who raised this concern.
MP for Bodi, Samson Ahi also urged the National Security and the Ministry for Sanitation and Water Resources to move in with water tankers to serve the community.
