Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has praised midfielder Kwesi Sibo for his impressive performances since earning his first call-up to the national team.
Sibo, who plays for Spanish side Real Oviedo, was a late addition to Ghana’s squad in September.
His inclusion, according to the Ghana Football Association, was to strengthen the team’s midfield following a 1-1 draw against Chad in N’Djamena.
Despite joining the team late, the midfielder has quickly won the admiration of many Ghanaian fans with his calm presence and sharp “one-touch” style of play.
Speaking exclusively to Joy Sports, Otto Addo was full of admiration for the 26-year-old.
“He’s made really good impressions,” Otto said. "He trained two times with us, he was so impressive, and I decided to play him.”
“He told me, ‘I was born ready,’ when he landed and I asked if he was ready to play,” he added.
