Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko expressed satisfaction with his team's 3-0 win over Young Apostles at the TNA stadium on Sunday.
All three goals came in the first half as Kamaradini Mamudu scored a brace for the Mauve and Yellow lads and set up the third with a great cross, which was headed in by skipper Fatawu Sulemana to secure all three points.
Speaking after the game, Tanko was impressed with his team's performance and was pleased with the results.
"First half was fantastic, in terms of goal scoring opportunities, with did very well," he said.
"I think we had to score in the second half, but after the three goals in the first half, they relaxed.
So in all, I am satisfied with the three points and playing without conceding."
This victory ended a two-game losing run for Tanko's side, after 1-0 defeats to both Bibiani Gold Stars and Hearts of Lions.
The results saw Mauve and Yellow pick up their 13th win of the league season after 29 games, amassing 44 points in the process.
The result moves them to the fifth position, two points above Hearts of Oak on the league standings and nine points behind league leaders Bibiani GoldStars.
